ANSWER THE ABOVE QUESTION THEN REPLY TO MY CLASSMATE’S DISCUSSION TO THE ABOVE QUESTION AND EXPLAIN WHY YOU AGREE.
I hope to gain some new and exciting ways to liven up classroom instruction as well as strategies for reaching some of those hard to connect to students. Now that students are all back in the classroom 100% of the time, some are having a hard time adjusting, so project-based learning has become more appealing so I can get students moving, thinking, and communicating. I have had some phenomenal teachers, but my favorite would have to be my Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Mosser. She was always kind, let us learn through exploration, and constantly asked questions to make you think. She encouraged conversation and helped guide our curiosity for the world. There were no wrong answers in her class, just answers that were sometimes led in a different direction. (Of course, I didn’t realize any of that at 5 years old, but looking back, she was the reason I played school every day as a small child.)

Understanding the best way to reach a diverse classroom setting can make a huge difference in the learning experience for each learner. The alignment of the strategy with the classroom dynamics and content can lead to greater efficiency and effectiveness for the instruction. This contributes to the greater professional satisfaction for the teacher. There will be an intense comparison between the “constructivist” classroom and the traditional teacher-centered learning environment.
